What to Expect
OPPORTUNITIES
TO GROW AND SERVE
At God's Family Church you will be discipled and equipped to disciple others. It is a safe place to learn and grow alongside others who are also work in progress. The goal of the leadership is to help you get delivered from sin and Satan, get discipled for continuous spiritual growth, discover and develop your gifts and destiny vocation, and ultimately get deployed for kingdom expansion and fulfilment of destiny. This process involves lots of opportunities to serve locally, nationally and globally.

Recommended Resource
Evidence for the Resurrection by Josh McDowell and Sean McDowell argues that the resurrection of Jesus is best understood as a historical event supported by a convergence of evidence rather than blind faith. The authors present several widely accepted historical facts, including that Jesus died by Roman crucifixion, that his tomb was found empty, that numerous individuals and groups reported post-resurrection appearances, and that the disciples were dramatically transformed from fearful followers into bold witnesses willing to suffer and die for their belief. They emphasize that the resurrection message emerged very early, as seen in creedal formulations like 1 Corinthians 15, making legendary development unlikely. The book also evaluates and critiques alternative explanations such as the hallucination theory, stolen body theory, and legend hypothesis, arguing that each fails to adequately account for all the data. In contrast, the resurrection provides a unified and coherent explanation for the empty tomb, the appearances, and the rise of early Christianity, leading the authors to conclude that it is the most reasonable and compelling interpretation of the historical evidence.
